will NEVER be forwarded on to any party ever unless it is legally
forced.
When you receive your new HomeSecurity Orb you will notice that I am
predefined as an Operator and Authorised to enter the area protected.
This is a precaution to let me help those confused when setting up the
system. With commands or with the menus you can easily remove me from
both lists.
There are no back doors into the system.
The system is hack proof as far as I am aware.
When using the 'Updates' option in the menu the Orb will send on
information about your avatar and Orb to my update server. This is
needed to process your request and send back to your avatar the
appropriate responses. The information sent is your avatars and the
Orbs unique identity number assigned to it by Second Life. This is also
used also to derive your avatar's name. Your avatar's name is then
recorded in case of multiple hack attempts on the update server and for
no other reason. Additionally Second Life automatically sends to my
server the location and name of the Orb.
If you feel that this information should not be collected then do not use the Update menu option.
